Approximately 800 networks are included in the directory. These are active GSM and CDMA operators providing wireless voice and data (not WLL) services over their own networks.

Subscriber Data

Profile subscriber data ranges from Q1 2008 through to Q4 2012. Our researchers extract this information directly from operators financial reports and presentations, group releases and regulators. Where there are gaps we will attempt to estimate the size of the market and each operators' share to provide a realistic data point. 

For each region we have provided full details in terms of the data we have collected and which operations we do not hold data for (typically island nation operators).
