Global MNO Subscriber Data Q1 2011 - Q2 2012

Research method: The presented data has been sourced from individual mobile network operators, country based telecommunication regulators, parent companies and group operators as well as estimates based upon known data points for the industry. Data for the Africa & Middle-East region comes from the weekly research service, Africa & Middle-East Telecom-Week.

Data file: These regional subscriber data files comes in Excel format. They contain data from Q1 2011 to Q2 2012. Data is for the operators as listed and is their total mobile subscriber data for that country.

User licenses: The subscriber data files are sold for either individual use or multi user use. Individual use means one named person. Multi use means for use by a team or department within the same business. Licenses can not be transferred.

Terms: Data is provided for the listed operations. Subscriber data should be used as a guide rather than exact. Official criteria for publication vary between operators and regulators. Even investor relations departments at a country level report data different to their parent companies. 100% accurate data does not exist due to differing methods of measurement by operators and the potential for human error in the calculation process. No liability will be accepted for how the data is used and for any impact this may have. Purchasing the data confirms you accept this.

Africa & the Middle East: Subscriber data for this region has been extracted from Blycroft’s weekly research service, Africa & Middle-East Telecom-Week, and is presented for all territories. Other subscriber data has been extracted from operators and regulators.

Americas Mobile Subscriber Data Q1 2011 – Q2 2012

North America: For Canada and the USA major operator subscriber numbers are included with some listings for smaller regional operations (providing data for all small operations is not feasible).

South America: Data is provided for Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica (Q2 12 only), Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela. Data is not provided for most island nations and some amalgamated data has been presented due to operators refusing to provide data on a country basis.

Asia Pacific Mobile Subscriber Data Q1 2011 – Q2 2012
